I didn't set out to become a FinOps specialist.
I set out to fix a problem no one was naming.
The problem
Enterprises are bleeding money in the cloud not because they lack tools, but because no one owns the problem.
Finance didn't understand the technology. Technology didn't speak the language of finance. And leadership was flying blind.
FinOps gave that problem a name. I build a working practice with your teams
What I do now
Today, I work as an independent advisor to enterprise leadership teams. I help them design FinOps operating models, align teams & executives around cloud economics, and build governance structures that last at scale
I bring advise to complexity and I help leaders make better decisions about cloud costs.

Alongside my advisory work, I'm building Costra — a platform that makes FinOps accessible for organizations that aren't ready for a full practice yet.
As I believe that organisations should have access to highly skilled FinOps profiles but not necessarily in an advisory role we provide FinOps As A Service so you get a slice of a FinOps Professional packaged in a service.
When Passion Drives you
When I step away from cloud economics, I usually end up in Scandinavia at a lakeside cabin in Värmland, Sweden. It's where I think, recharge, and find the clarity that fuels everything else.
As I want to share my passion to everyone who wants to hear it. I started an information website for Dutch speakers in Belgium & The Netherlands.
